Maple Sriracha Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

1lb brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved

2-3 tablespoons olive oil

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 tablespoon sriracha

2 teaspoons soy sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lime juice

1 large garlic clove, finely grated

METHOD

  1. Place a baking sheet in the oven. Preheat to 450F.

  2. In the meantime, add the trimmed brussesl and olive oil to a large bowl. Season with kosher salt and black pepper and toss to coat. It’s ok if some of the outer leaves fall off the brussels.

  3. Once the oven has preheated, carefully remove the baking sheet and arrange the brussels on the baking sheet, cut side down. This will allow the sprouts to sear and develop a beautiful golden crust.

  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until browned and tender.

  5. In the meantime, make the sauce by stirring together the maple syrup, sriracha, soy sauce, and lime juice.

  6. Remove the brussels from the oven and pour over the sauce. Toss to coat. Serve immediately.
