Following two internships in high school, Zaynab has worked in marketing at Time Inc., Afterpay Touch Group, Iconix Brand Group, and in editorial at The Knot WW and ArtistosLifestyle.com.
Most recently, Zaynab has designed, written, and published the zine-style cookbook let’s eat, a collection of East African + Indian recipes intended to be shared. The book places emphasis on food as a holistic experience that sparks joy and conversation, ultimately bringing people together and encouraging sharing.
In her free-time, she enjoys developing recipes, traveling, restaurant hopping, browsing through magazines, drinking matcha chai lattes, and exploring galleries and museums.
